We promise to print your mat properly and pay you your rebate when designs sell.<\/div>\n\n<h2>Who we are<\/h2>\n<p>Mad Mats is operated by Mats R Us Group, based at 37 Victory Road, Airport West VIC 3042, Australia.<\/p>\n\n<h2>Your account<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>You must be 18 or older to create an account.<\/li>\n<li>You&#8217;re responsible for keeping your login details secure.<\/li>\n<li>One person, one account &mdash; no sharing or transferring accounts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2>Designs you upload or create<\/h2>\n<p>See our separate <a href=\"\/?page_id=55\">Copyright &amp; IP Policy<\/a> &mdash; the short version is: you confirm you own or have permission to use any artwork you upload, and you take responsibility for any infringement claims.<\/p>\n\n<h2>Buying a mat<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>All prices are in <strong>Australian dollars (AUD)<\/strong> and <strong>include GST<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Payment is taken at order placement via Stripe.<\/li>\n<li>We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders &mdash; for example, designs that violate our IP policy or anything illegal\/obscene. If we cancel, you get a full refund.<\/li>\n<li>Lead times are estimates, not guarantees. We print and ship within 5&ndash;10 business days under normal conditions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2>Earning rebates (designers)<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>You earn <strong>20% of the ex-GST product price<\/strong> every time a mat with your design sells &mdash; that&#8217;s $28 to $90 per sale depending on size.<\/li>\n<li>Rebates accumulate in your &#8220;My Earnings&#8221; dashboard and are paid out via Stripe Connect once you&#8217;ve reached the minimum threshold (TBC, currently held until manual payout).<\/li>\n<li>Pure designers (uploading without buying a mat) pay a $20 fee per design and earn the same 20% rebate when others buy that design.<\/li>\n<li>We may pause or remove designs that infringe IP, are reported, or breach our terms &mdash; with notice where possible.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2>Delivery<\/h2>\n<p>Currently delivering within Australia only ($33 inc GST for up to 2 mats). International shipping planned post-launch.<\/p>\n\n<h2>What we&#8217;re not liable for<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Loss, damage or delay caused by carriers once a mat has shipped (we&#8217;ll help resolve, but the carrier is the responsible party).<\/li>\n<li>Designs uploaded by users that infringe third-party IP (see Copyright &amp; IP Policy).<\/li>\n<li>Indirect, consequential or special damages of any kind.<\/li>\n<li>Nothing in these terms limits the consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law &mdash; those apply on top of these terms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2>Suspension and termination<\/h2>\n<p>We can suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, abuse the platform, or upload illegal\/infringing content. You can close your account any time by emailing us.<\/p>\n\n<h2>Changes to these terms<\/h2>\n<p>We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be notified by email or via the site. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.<\/p>\n\n<h2>Governing law<\/h2>\n<p>These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
