Mad Mats is operated by Mats R Us Pty Ltd<\/strong> (ABN to be added), 37 Victory Road, Airport West VIC 3042, Australia. By using the site you agree to these terms.<\/p>\n\n You need an account to buy a mat or list a design. You can sign up with email or Google. Keep your password (or Google account) secure — you’re responsible for anything done from your account. You must be 16+ to register, and 18+ to receive designer payouts.<\/p>\n TLDR:<\/strong> One person, one account, keep it secure.<\/p>\n\n All prices are in Australian Dollars and include 10% GST. Delivery is tiered: $33 inc GST for 1\u20133 mats, $55 for 4\u20136, $77 for 7\u201310, anywhere in Australia. We accept Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Apple Pay and Google Pay via Stripe. We don’t store your card details.<\/p>\n Current inc-GST prices: 60×90 cm $154 · 85×115 cm $242 · 85×150 cm $308 · 1.2×1.8 m $495. Prices may change without notice but won’t change on an order you’ve already placed.<\/p>\n\n Each mat is custom printed to your order. Typical turnaround is 5–10 business days from order. You’ll get an email when your mat ships.<\/p>\n Make sure your delivery address is correct — we can’t intercept a mat once it’s left our facility.<\/p>\n\n Because each mat is custom made, we don’t accept change-of-mind returns. This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.<\/strong> If your mat is faulty, damaged in transit, the wrong size, or doesn’t match the design you approved, we will repair, replace or refund as required by law. See our Refund & Returns Policy<\/a> for the full detail.<\/p>\n\n When another buyer purchases a design you created or uploaded, you earn a 20% rebate of the GST-exclusive product price<\/strong> (currently $28 on a 60×90 cm mat, scaling to $90 on a 1.2×1.8 m mat). The rebate excludes GST and delivery.<\/p>\n Rebates are tracked automatically against your account on every paid order, viewable any time in My Earnings<\/a>.<\/p>\n During the launch period, rebates are paid manually.<\/strong> Request a payout from the My Earnings page once your balance reaches $50<\/strong> and we’ll process it within 7 business days to your nominated bank account or PayPal.<\/p>\n Automatic payouts via Stripe Connect Express will be enabled in a future release. We will email you before the change and walk you through the one-time onboarding.<\/p>\n Rebates become payable only after the buyer’s refund\/chargeback window has passed (currently 30 days from order). Refunded or charged-back orders reverse the rebate. We may withhold payouts where we reasonably suspect fraud or chargeback risk.<\/p>\n TLDR:<\/strong> You earn $28–$90 per sale, tracked automatically. Manual payouts at $50+ during launch, automatic via Stripe Connect later.<\/p>\n\n You can list a design in the gallery without buying a mat for a $20 inc-GST upload fee per design. The fee is non-refundable and covers listing review and platform costs. You still earn the same 20% rebate when someone else buys it.<\/p>\n\n You keep ownership of your designs. By uploading you grant Mad Mats a non-exclusive, royalty-free worldwide licence to print, display, market and sell mats featuring your design while it’s listed. You choose whether a design you buy is published to the public gallery at the time of purchase (published by default), and you can unpublish or republish it at any time from My Earnings. Pending rebates from sales made before you unpublish are still paid.<\/p>\n You confirm you have the legal right to upload everything in your design — no third-party copyright, trademarks, brand logos, celebrity likenesses or unlicensed photography. See Copyright & IP<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n We reserve the right to remove or refuse any design that is, in our reasonable view, illegal, hateful, defamatory, infringing, sexually explicit, or that we don’t want associated with the Mad Mats brand. We may refund affected buyers and reverse pending rebates if a removed design has been sold.<\/p>\n\n How we handle your personal data is in our Privacy Policy<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a mat is limited to the amount you paid for that mat. Nothing in these terms excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.<\/p>\n\n We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or on the site. Continuing to use Mad Mats after a change means you accept the updated terms.<\/p>\n\n These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
