Designing & ordering
How do I design a mat?
Go to Design Your Mat, pick your size, then launch the designer. Add text, upload an image, place a photo — whatever you want. Preview, click Add to Cart, sign in (or sign up — one click with Google), and check out.
What sizes do you offer?
Four sizes, all inc GST: 60 × 90 cm ($154), 85 × 115 cm ($242), 85 × 150 cm ($308), and 1.2 × 1.8 m ($495). Delivery is $33 for up to 2 mats.
How long does delivery take?
Australia-wide. Typically 5–10 business days from order to delivery (print + post). Custom orders aren’t held in stock so there’s a couple of days production time before they ship.
Do you ship internationally?
Not yet — Australia only at launch. We’ve got production capacity through a partner factory in China and will turn international shipping on once we’re sure the AU side is humming.
Earning money on your designs
How do I earn the 20% rebate?
Sign up (free), design your mat, buy it. Your design auto-publishes to the public gallery. Every time someone else buys a mat with your design, you earn 20% of the ex-GST product price — that’s $28 to $90 per sale depending on the size they pick.
I just want to upload designs, not buy mats. Can I?
Yes. For $20 per design you can upload artwork straight to the gallery without buying. If anyone buys your design, you still earn the same 20% rebate.
Where do I see my earnings?
Sign in and visit My Earnings — you’ll see pending payouts, total earned, and a per-sale breakdown with thumbnails of each design that sold.
How and when do I get paid?
Payouts go via Stripe Connect. You’ll be prompted to set up your payout account (bank details, basic ID) the first time your earnings reach the threshold. Once it’s set up, payments are automatic.
Is there a limit on how much I can earn?
No limit. If your design goes viral and sells thousands, you get 20% of every single one.
Copyright & rules
Can I upload a brand logo / famous character / song lyric?
Only if you own the rights or have permission. Uploading copyrighted artwork without permission is your responsibility, not ours — full details in our Copyright & IP Policy.
What if someone uploads my design?
Email martin@matsrus.com.au with the URL and proof of ownership. We respond to legitimate takedown requests within 7 days.
Refunds, returns, problems
Can I return a mat if I change my mind?
No — every mat is made-to-order from a unique design, so change-of-mind returns aren’t possible. But if there’s anything wrong with the print, the wrong size shipped, or it arrived damaged, we’ll fix it. Full details: Refunds & returns.
The print looks different from what I designed.
Email us with photos within 14 days of delivery and we’ll either reprint or refund.
Account & privacy
Do you sell my data?
No. See Privacy policy for the full breakdown of what we collect and why.
I want to delete my account.
Email martin@matsrus.com.au and we’ll remove everything we can (we have to keep completed-order records for 7 years per Australian tax law).
